Once-off grants

CHOSA offers once-off grants based on the needs of the recipient organization or community. Our once-off grants have been allocated to various programs, such as for sports, for cultural activities and in some cases for emergency relief.

Organizations qualify for grants after we have built a relationship with it through extended dialogue. If we feel there is a significant need that can be address through a once-off grant, we will invite the organisation to send in a short proposal. The organization or community is expected to show that this grant is solely to address children's needs of that particular community. All grants are 100% unrestricted on this basis giving the organisation or community the authority to decide how the funds should be used.

CHOSA has continued to assist communities and community-based organizations that are struggling with important resources such as starting up a project, aquiring sport equipment, and other needs that they themselves identify.
