Capacity building

Based upon the community’s wants and needs, CHOSA offers an on-ground support to help the management of community-base organizations develop and build the capacity of its staff and general community members. This helps improve efficiency and capacity so that they are better able to serve the children in their care.

Sometimes this entails assisting in the preparation of a proposal for funding, helping identify more efficient uses of technology or engaging in collaborations with community partners. Financial training is often a key component of our capacity building support.

It is important to note that capacity building varies from project to project and that the communities have complete control over their own development process.
